Malaysia trip summary

ok its hard to recall all 17 days so some stuff might be cut short or messed up..but dont blame me..

Day 1

it sort of felt like 2 days because i arrived at the airport at around..midnight? so when i got back, had some sleep.. i woke up at 7am (omg)  it felt like a new day :)

the flight was overall..pretty ok, no screaming babies, kids kicking my chair from the back - but no food because its airasia~!! anyway i wasn't hungry so i didn't get cup noodles like most people did.. the plane was pretty loud (and old) so i couldn't sleep for the whole journey T.T..

the road/shops outside my relatives house:

so that day i was really paranoid about my frizzy hair :( so i made dad take me to a salon to get it rebonded as soon as i woke up. before that dad went to the markets and got me my favourite breakfast ^^!! curry 'chu cheong farn' (not sure about the spelling) - and it has to be from that ONE shop only, other places make gross ones..

at the salon i got a haircut, got it rebonded and also had a treatment to keep my hair silky smooth ^^~ it all cost me around RM200, which is pretty worth it..

after i got my hair done, i went to check out the 'gardens' beside midvalley - OMG the stuff was so expensive!! its not like i can't afford it ;) but i think its just not worth it, even though the material was pretty good quality.. (it said it was made of silk)

and no, i discovered thats not actually expensive, not compared to the other things i saw later that day..

because of the price tagging (omg) i didn't pay much attention to the clothes, in case i fell in love with something..expensive, so i took random pictures of the christmas decorations in the mall:

so mom got hungry, and was lazy to walk over to midvalley's food court.. so we stayed there and got hour lunch at some pretty nice restaurant..

Day 2 & Beyond...

on the way to singapore, we stopped by at Johor Bahru at another relatives house for a night, and ate some steamboat for dinner:

theres a table/fridge full of food and you can select whatever you want to eat from there, basically take it yourself.

it tasted pretty good

after one night, we set off for singapore on a taxi and stayed at orchard hotel for 1 night.

that day we went shopping and ended up in some japanese market thing.. i forgot what its called.. but it was really japanesey :D..had japanese signs i could read~!

also i cant believe i found the chocolate i've been wanting to try for a long time in that market place thing: meltykiss. it was SGD 3.50 ish, not too expensive.

looks like a pocky package (the good ones) because its made by the same company. these stuff have to be kept below 23 degrees celcius so i had a pretty hard time taking these back to kl and keeping them in shape at the same time. it melted in the bus on the way back but thanks to my l33t skills it didnt really change..shape.

after a night we still had until 12pm till we have to check out and catch our bus back to kl, so dad let me off alone to roam around and do whatever i wanted.. and gave me quite alot of money, but i didnt buy anything because its like..omg SGD 90 for just a normal shirt. no thanks.

we took the 'aeroline' bus back to kl which was a lot more comfy than the stupid plane.

it was a lot bigger and taller than the other buses that were travelling the same route as us: (we pwnt all)

it was pretty delicious, but i got sick of it after a while.. the chicken is covered in some slimy matter which i do not want to know about.. but it still tasted decent..

Day 5, i think. 17th November

on the way to genting i passed by one of the many petrol stations that reminded me of emily.. and snapped a pic:

err it was nice..despite how it looks in THE box.. not too sweet, just right for my taste :)

Back in Kl, forgot which day..

the day after that we went karaoke~!! the room was BIG, they had awesome wireless mics, and it was cheap.. you get a set meal, (eg. sizzling steak), a drink (i got lychee) and a salad buffet (they have soup too) for a price cheaper than UTOPIA. >:(

i think thats ..yunho? or changmin. yes i was singing dbsk - begin :)

Last Day..

went speed shopping on the last day to get whatever i havent got already, and found a COOL bottle:

on the way back to perth, on the plane:

we had nasi lemak

it was alright, the omelette that looked like cheese didn't taste like anything.. and the curry wasn't spicy at all but it was alright. also had a kitkat, nuts+ikan bilis and water that came with the meal. it was better than most airplane meals i have tasted.. :)

malaysia..here i come!!

in about 10 hours from now im going to take the flight to malaysia!

so i decided to finish off prince of persia and man..the ending was so unexpected ._.

since you're reading this i might aswell spoil you all anyway, so .. THERE IS GOING TO BE ANOTHER GAME.. -.- because the guy didn't want elika to die so he revived ahriman ._. .. what a freaking noob!!

also im thinking what to do in msia.. my schedule is pretty tight, i just have 17 days to meet my msian friends, go to sungei wang and etc with mary and them, shop till i die, eat till i get high cholestrol, go to ipoh to visit my granny, go to singapore, go to genting with mary.. and the list goes on.

DONT FORGET.. THE HAAGEN DAZS FONDUE!!

so because im going to be away, and i dont have a laptop this time -.- chances are, im not going to be online at all until i come back. maybe if i get lucky and drop by an internet cafe or something, which i find pointless anyway.. so take care everyone~ and have fun melting in the summer heat ^^, also when you go karaoke take the chance to sing without me, the ultimate mic hogger! :D

Prince of Persia (PS3)

its been a while since i got this game and im about to complete it soo~~~ i guess its time to introduce the game~~!

when you enter the site a flashy cool intro thingy appears.. woooo and there it introduces a little bit of the game ^^

a fighting scene copied from the internet: (i couldn't be bothered getting my own)

which looks like a noob fighting the 'hunter'. creative name huh?

this stuff is pretty addicting.. and it does get boring (gotta collect 'light seeds' all the time) but the monkey jumping doesn't fail to keep me entertained ^^ 

all throughout the game you have Elika to guide you so you won't get lost and.. sometimes there is more than one way to get through to places so theres a bit of freedom involved there..

also mentioning freedom, in fighting scenes you get to improvise using various techniques and chaining them together. cool huh?

when you unlock different plates you unlock different places AND different plates involve different ways to get around places and one or two of them is pretty fun ~ 

if you decide to play this game i advice unlocking yellow first though, although its the most boring it'll give you time to play around and get used to the controls because its fairly easy.

i cant be bothered writing much about this so ill just say its worth the money buying the game and all, the story is pretty convincing.. (i guess) and the boring bits only last a short while.

rating: 9/10 

like i said its worth it so everyone who has a PS3 should run out and go get one from the nearest shop now ^^..

exam results T.T

so today i was happily chatting with lins .. and not being bored surprisingly

then she started talking abt exam results and how her mom was complaining and im like WTF? ITS OUT ALREADY? IN THE MAIL?? IN THE MAIL???

and even better, when i opened my door to sprint to the mailbox i saw dad at the mailbox. I WAS ONLY 1 SECOND LATE :(   i was worried because i didnt check my intro results with ms spencer, and i thought i failed the exam or something because it was pretty gg, maths was never my specialty anyway.

people kept saying intro was WAY easy and chem was gg but I ACTUALLY THOUGHT CHEM WAS PISS EASY COMPARED TO INTRO O_O even though i didnt study for chem at all, while i crammed all night for intro..

so i pretended to not know anything and sat at the com as usual.. looking at him peeling the letter open from the corner of my eye, and observing his facial expression changing from neutral to pissed -.-

ok so what, i only got 1 A AGAIN, but this time its jap D; not hbio NOOO~!!!!

overall i actually improved -.- in everything except hbio, because my average got screwed up thanks to the stupid exam filled with pictures of constipating monkies or something, that stuff doesnt seem like its going to help in my life is it?

it was actually surprising i even managed a B in for chem because i got slack in term 3 and 4 and never did ANYTHING at all, so basically i only had 1 hr of chem each week with the awesome mr ta. see what mr ta can do? hes got magic i swear! (i just found out i was 1% away from an A.. this sucks ..it really does..)

so yup today im pretty satisfied.. my parents aren't but i dont care do i? its expected because i didnt really try this year. so next year i have to start making notes yea? ^^

also im wondering if i should change music back to phys because.. i havent even touched my violin yet and when i get back from msia.. i've only got 1 month to get my skills back to grade 8 and above standard.. which is pretty..impossible =/ and my phys unexpectedly improved! so.. i guess im getting the hang of it..argh..decisions decisions.

mmm, food.

so yesterday i went with my family to shimizu~!! the buffet that is.

there wasn't much of a variety so i got myself some..

LOTS of fatty salmon sashimi, sushi, unagi, some miso soup, lots of tea, x2 caramel slice, lots of oranges, lots of jelly, chicken katsu, crab stick salad thing, some beef which is half raw and cold but was nice, all from the area where you get your stuff.

after you sit down they will bring some takoyaki, teppanyaki, and mixed tempura. all of them were nice but i have to say.. i think i got sick of takoyaki. so we ordered MORE teppanyaki and tempura because they were the best <3>

the prawn tempura was REALLY nice.. the prawn they used were fresh and it was all bouncy inside the mouth ^^ (can't explain this really well)

the highlights of the buffet i guess.. is the tempura, fatty salmon and caramel slice.

but why caramel slice you wonder..

thats because its the best i've ever tasted~ and it goes all melty inside your mouth unlike the ones you buy outside. i got sick after the first one but i didnt care.. i just had to get more and made myself even more sick o_o

its around $45pp but hey, all that prawn and raw salmon i took probably made up for it (mom took ugh..the whole row probably) and if you're planning to go eat there its better to book beforehand! the tables were all full when it came to about 7.30pm ish~ (we even had to line up to get our tea)

Mirrors (2008)

I watched this movie last night..

WARNING, MIGHT HAVE SPOILERS O_O

Title: Mirrors

Director: Alexandre Aja

This guy directed "The Hills have Eyes" and seriously, i thought the hills have eyes was a better movie than this. It was pretty disappointing.. i had to wait for the clues to come out slowly, and there wasn't much tension at all.. except the very last part.

Its about a guy who gets a new job at this abandoned shopping mall and stuff, and he starts seeing things in the mirrors.. its quite unique compared to the other horror movies with the ghosts in human form, because in this movie you don't really see them.. just little bits of human like stuff on the mirror.

I can't believe this stuff is rated R, its just some gore and a little bits of flesh here and there..

I mean if this is R.. then hi5 would probably be M or something. And saw (movie) would probably be banned from everyone -.-, with all that flesh ripping and throwing here and there, which makes the flesh ripping in mirrors look like child play

Rating: 5.5/10

its ok, but to me, its not worth to watch in the cinema. how about waiting for the dvd to come out and rent it? it would be much better :)

it had a crappiest ending ever, and what the mirror was, and how it got there in the first place, is never explained in this movie.

i wont be surprised if there is a sequel to this because of that bad ending where he turns into the ghost in the mirror itself.

ok i've checked, and it seems there is "partial nudity" in this movie. (just a bit of butt crack, a lady taking a bath and u cant see anything anyway) how does that make it an R? emilys imagination is probably more of an R, or an R+ or something

don't you hate it when they're not even goodlooking? even with the angles and stuff. and they put it up on facebook.. and they have a million pics of themselves with that same artificial cheesy smile on that screwed up face of theirs. im not targeting a single person (actually i am now, since i'm on facebook, but i wont name the person im ranting about here, because i will probably get a million girls out there hunting me down) but seriously, if you don't look good in one picture, don't put it on. you ain't getting any compliments, just some sarcasm from me.. thats if im even bothered commenting. and i realised, if i cut that picture out, and compare it with another picture of theirs, i swear its like an exact copy.

also, when they're wearing a boob tube. and they don't have like awesome nicely shaped boobs (sorry guys i just had to write this :P ) that goes well with the tube. you know how there's nice round boobs and then theres the big ones that are big, but they flatten out over the body? i can't explain, but if you look at fat people's nude picture (not that i do) you would get a picture of what im talking about.

now talking about the boobtube, and combined with the camera angles, you get to see down their tops a little. the thing is, its not a pretty sight. not with that ugly face and ugly boobs. im a girl, i dont want to see your boobs. (thats because you're not sexy) its interesting to see why they even bother posting these pictures up, but they're making a really bad image of themselves in other peoples minds. (like mine ^^) don't they have any shame? did they do it just so people can see down their boob tube? far out.

going back to the rant about "cheesy smiles", its even worse when they have bad teeth. i will forgive them if they had perfectly aligned white teeth like mine (oh yes. you know its true and i have proof. want it?). but when i see yellow teeth with obvious plaque building up on the teeth, it makes me cringe. and then i have this empty feeling inside me, feeling sorry for them. have they ever heard of a toothbrush? hello people out there, brush your teeth 2 times a day and was it 60 seconds? and remember to use toothpaste.

last but not least, braces. when you're wearing braces people, dont give a big cheesy grin to the camera. a smile will do, JUST A SMILE. i dont want to see anything i dont know about, building up on your braces. its not a crime to wear braces, but please be aware that they dont look good. 

oh and i forgot to mention, seductive poses/im so popular oh, look im hugging like a million people poses don't work on me. please, maybe you do know them, but oh, do they like you? thats a different matter.

kims day out. 02/12/2008

today i went city with naomi and met up with mary..

first me and naomi went to the post office to post her letter to malaysia..

and we couldnt find the post office.

so we went to the information centre and asked the people there... and they said: "its just next door!". i wished i had a fail pic to paste on naomis back at that time..

so finally after we reached the post office (which was next door), naomi was getting her stamps, and we saw a woman at the counter that laughed like this:

interesting. an even more interesting thing is, she looked perfectly fine. curly hair and curvy figure..shes kinda hot too i guess.. hot rating: 5/10 (for normal people i go about 4 >_>)

the guy at the counter looked like he was scared. real scared. if you could read facial expressions you could tell that obviously he was saying "WHAT DO I DO!! HELP!!" and even better, he had a smile plastered on his face so the woman wouldn't think she was weird. i guess hes a nice guy afterall.

so getting back on the topic, naomi didn't know how to post a letter. so basically i was telling her what to do and i could feel the stares coming in and stabbing my back. anyway, she went to stick the stamp and i told her to use the rolly blue thing. so she lifted it up and accidently poured all the stick blue things on her letter. just great.

trying my best not to mock her (which i already did anyway..) we went to the body shop and scabbed ourselves some oil perfume thing :) we mixed vanilla and strawberry scent! it smelt like strawberry icecream ~ (and we got our piercings too, ouch. i forgot to mention it..)

after scabbing ourselves the perfume we went to taka to meet mary.. i ordered "ten don" which is prawn tempura over rice because i haven't tried it before.

but because taka microwaves their stuff, obviously mine wasn't as crunchylicious as the ten don in the picture :( so my advice is dont eat ten don at taka..

after taka we went to have some gelare waffles. we sat at a table.. "enjoying" the sunny day.(crap no, it was 33 degrees outside and what does the chem book say? kim melting point: 25 degrees.)

after awhile, some smokers sat behind our table and eventually when the wind started blowing, it blew the smoke to us. gosh i hate smokers. not to mention they made the place smell bad too.

after finishing the waffles..we went to timezone to play ddr. already melting but im still playing ddr. as usual, the mat didn't work, so i stomped and stomped.. managing to survive the first song. pro aren't i? anyway chris stole my fan so it wasn't a good experience...

so all in all it was a good day.

summary of the trip: post office -> piercing -> taka -> gelare -> timezone -> home

rating todays activity: 7/10

if it wasn't for the heat it would be better. but oh well..

Karaoke night~!!

ok so i went to karaoke last night.. but all i could remember was sunleung hugging each other =.=

what a way to deliver pain to my eyes seriously..but anyway

it was a good night. i hogged for probably 1/2 the session, its a good thing Larry didn't come :)

surprisingly it didn't get boring till the last half hour (for me but probably the others were shit bored) and since mooHAHAHA paid for the session it was awesome :D

it was too late/and im too broke to get him a present so.. hmm.. meh, maybe i'll get him something in msia (woot! cheap stuff ftw!)

ok, since im such a pro singer/mic hogger, its obvious that i would get singstar :)

the score rating is ok, but it gets boring because you cant improvise and you basically have to sing in a straight note? and yea it makes the singing sound really bland =.=

when it comes to rapping, i still dont get how the scoring system works but whatever, im not gonna sing the rap songs then.

after trying all the songs i've got on mine now i've gotta say blink182 is the easiest to sing. not only i've got my first score as 8k, but it keeps going up due to my awesomeness.

because of that, i've come to realise that DAMN! I REALLY AM PRO AT SINGING.

its a bit of a shame how they dont have any BSB/NSYNC/Westlife songs though, but oh well..

i dont need BSB/NSYNC/Westlife songs for my awesomeness to function i guess.

i was thinking if utopia could incorporate these things like scoring system and PROPER MUSIC VIDEOS AND LYRICS and also NEW SONGS, i would give its karaoke a 10/10
